High Rejection, Low Energy Consumption Reverse Osmosis Elements for Brackish Water
The thin-film composite reverse osmosis membranes of the A series feature high permeate flow and high rejection of sodium chloride. The AK HR elements for brackish water are selected when high rejection and low operating pressures are required. These elements allow for significant energy savings with operating pressures as low as 100 psig (689 kPa).
These elements are recommended for mildly brackish water with a salt concentration (TDS) of up to 1000 mg/l. The AK HR elements achieve permeate quality close to that of standard elements while operating at much lower pressures.
The AK HR elements are certified ANSI/NSF 61.
